Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger and storm combo deck commanded by Veyran, Voice of Duality. Veyran doubles every triggered ability caused by casting or copying instant and sorcery spells. This turns permanents like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Harmonic Prodigy into overwhelming mana and card advantage engines. The deck accelerates through early turns using low-cost mana rocks, cost reducers, and rituals like Jeska's Will and Seething Song. On Turn 4, it deploys Veyran alongside an engine piece and chains cheap cantrips to dig for game-ending combo lines. Primary win conditions include milling the library with Underworld Breach and Brain Freeze to resolve Thassa's Oracle, exiling the library with Thought Lash for an immediate Oracle win, or generating massive storm counts with Haze of Rage to burn the table with Coruscation Mage and Thunderdrum Soloist. The deck protects its combo turns using efficient countermagic and redirection spells.
