Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is commanded by Agent Venom, who provides consistent card draw from the command zone whenever nontoken creatures die. The deck's primary game plan revolves around assembling an unbounded life-drain combo using Warren Soultrader, Gravecrawler, and a drain outlet such as Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. Buried Alive and Entomb set up the graveyard quickly, allowing cheap reanimation spells like Victimize and Reanimate to establish the combo on Turn 5. Once active, the loop generates infinite death and entry triggers to eliminate all three opponents in a single turn. As a backup, the deck features the Blowfly Infestation and Nest of Scarabs token engine to wipe opposing boards and trigger death payoffs. While the deck boasts rapid recovery and strong creature removal, its reliance on the graveyard and lack of stack interaction leave it exposed to fast interaction and noncreature permanents.
