Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Simic Midrange Stompy strategy commanded by Tanazir Quandrix. The game plan revolves around rapidly establishing a wide board of efficient creatures and scaling mana dorks, distributing +1/+1 counters through redundant modifiers like Arwen, Weaver of Hope, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, and Hardened Scales, and converting small creatures into massive lethal attackers. Tanazir Quandrix acts as a potent force multiplier in the command zone, doubling existing counters upon entry and raising the base stats of all attacking creatures to match its own. The deck backs up its aggressive combat plan with card draw engines such as Danny Pink and Rhystic Study, alongside flexible interaction and efficient board protection like Ripples of Potential and Inspiring Call. It reliably threatens lethal combat damage by Turn 5 and closes the game on Turn 6.
