Animar - Temur by JLCitadel

Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements is a creature-cheat tempo deck built to do exactly what its pilot claims: turn out enormous creatures for free. The plan is to land Animar ahead of curve on a dork/rock shell, chain cheap creatures to balloon his +1/+1 counters, then convert the escalating discount into casting cascade bombs and Eldrazi titans with their cast triggers intact. Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, the three Ulamogs, and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth are the payloads, usually ending the game through hasted annihilator combat with Temur Ascendancy or Rhythm of the Wild supplying haste. A secondary deterministic line loops Peregrine Drake and Cloud of Faeries with Temur Sabertooth to generate infinite creature casts and mana, then kills via Walking Ballista. Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Kami of Whispered Hopes multiply counters, while a deep cast-draw package keeps the engine self-sustaining.
