Deck overview

This Boros aggro deck centers on Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, combining low-curve Dwarf tribal synergy with artifact token generation. During the opening turns, the deck develops an aggressive board of Dwarves alongside treasure-producing equipment like Goldvein Pick and Beamtown Beatstick. Casting Thorin on Turn 5 activates a powerful engine that turns every subsequent Dwarf entry into Treasure tokens while granting all other Dwarves +1/+0 for each artifact token controlled. By Turn 6, accumulated Treasures transform small utility Dwarves into massive lethal threats. Damage amplifiers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Collective Inferno, and double strike enablers like Dáin Ironfoot quickly accelerate combat damage to eliminate opponents sequentially across Turns 6 through 8. While the deck possesses strong targeted interaction and redirection, its primary vulnerability lies in its reliance on wide creature boards vulnerable to mass sweepers.
