Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive and synergistic Izzet Spellslinger deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both the deck's primary mana acceleration engine and a potent table-wide burn clock. By casting low-cost noncreature spells, Vivi rapidly accumulates +1/+1 counters and pings all opponents, which in turn fuels a massive burst of {U} and {R} mana via its {0} ability. The deck transitions into a high-velocity storm and direct-damage strategy, leveraging powerful amplifiers like Veyran, Voice of Duality, Hawkeye, Young Avenger, and Tellah, Great Sage. Attaching Curiosity to Vivi creates an overwhelming card advantage engine by drawing three cards on every noncreature cast, quickly digging into finishers like a lethal Crackle with Power or the uncounterable two-card infinite combo with Niv-Mizzet, Parun. Supported by a robust suite of cheap countermagic and efficient spot removal, the deck defends its key turns effectively while pushing for a decisive win by Turn 6.
