Deck overview

An artifact-combo/stax build that uses the Food-producing legend as an optional engine. The primary plan is to assemble Transmutation Font, Clock of Omens, Academy Manufactor and Peregrin Took, generating infinite Clue/Food/Treasure tokens, then use Transmutation Font's second ability to find Walking Ballista and kill the table. Secondary lines use KCI/Nuka-Cola to convert artifacts into mana and Finale of Devastation to turn a board into a hasty overrun. The commander supplies early Food ramp and punishes noncreature spells, while Trinisphere, Sphere of Resistance, and Damping Sphere slow opponents. Because none of the combo lines require the commander, it is a genuine stax/utility piece rather than a combo choke point.
