Jhoira by jdugas

Format: Commander

Commander: Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain leads a historic-artifact deck that turns cheap legendary spells and artifacts into card draw. The primary plan is to land Jhoira on turn 3, reduce artifact costs, and chain zero-to-three mana historic spells into a massive hand, then close with the Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Niv-Mizzet, Visionary damage loop. Mystic Forge plus Sensei's Divining Top and a cost reducer is the main library-drawing engine. Secondary lines use Urza to convert artifacts into blue mana, Sai/Thopter Engineer tokens combined with Shaun or Overpowering Attack to win through combat, or a stormed Prismari/Ral spell for a direct kill. The double-faced commander issue does not apply; Jhoira is the only commander. No hidden commander exists in the 99, but Niv-Mizzet, Visionary effectively serves as the hidden combo finisher.
