Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Gruul aggressive Voltron and combat combo list helmed by Wolverine, Best There Is. The game plan leverages explosive fast mana rocks and efficient mana dorks to deploy Wolverine on Turn 2, followed by equipment, counter modifiers, or combat enhancers on Turn 3. Wolverine's static ability doubles all damage he deals, allowing him to rapidly eliminate players through lethal commander damage. In multiplayer games, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar turns single-target commander attacks into lethal damage across all opponents simultaneously. The deck also integrates compact backup infinite win conditions, including Aggravated Assault paired with Bear Umbra or Sword of Feast and Famine, and Fanatic of Rhonas paired with Umbral Mantle to pump infinite mana into Finale of Devastation. Dense instant-speed protection shields the board from opposing disruption while the deck closes the game by Turn 5.
