Tod, Royal Rangus (Proxy) V2 by Beardsman

Format: Commander

Commander: Zirda, the Dawnwaker

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a high-power Boros activated-ability combo deck helmed by Zirda, the Dawnwaker. The plan is to leverage dense fast mana and artifact tutors to assemble compact infinite-mana loops, then convert them through Walking Ballista or Goblin Cannon. Zirda's cost-reduction on non-mana activated abilities turns clunky loops into efficient two-card wins, while her companion clause enforces an all-activated-ability permanent suite that keeps the deck laser-focused. Primary lines revolve around Auriok Salvagers + zero-mana rocks, Metalworker + Umbral Mantle/Staff of Domination, and Oswald Fiddlebender artifact chaining. A deep stack-protection package (Silence, Grand Abolisher, Deflecting Swat, etc.) shields the combo turn. The deck wins through pure combo efficiency rather than combat, with recursion and value engines providing backup inevitability.
