Deck overview

This Boros Voltron deck leverages Lightning, Army of One to rapidly eliminate opponents through lethal combat damage amplified by her Stagger mechanic. Stagger doubles all subsequent damage dealt to a player after Lightning connects, turning moderate power buffs into one-shot eliminations. The deck is supported by a top-tier equipment tutor suite, including Stoneforge Mystic, Steelshaper's Gift, and Fighter Class, which quickly locates game-ending armaments like Colossus Hammer, Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor, and the protective Sword of Feast and Famine. Equip-cost cheaters such as Sigarda's Aid, Forge Anew, and Puresteel Paladin bypass steep equip costs for immediate tempo. Additional combat spells like Relentless Assault, Seize the Day, and an infinite loop with Aggravated Assault allow the deck to chain attacks across the table. Robust protection pieces, including Mithril Coat, Grand Abolisher, and Teferi's Protection, shield the assault from opposing interaction.
