Rotcleaver by Janus_Mertis

Format: Commander

Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver commands a Dimir Zombie tribal deck that seamlessly merges aggressive swarm tactics with resilient aristocrats combo engines. The primary game plan focuses on generating sacrificial Zombie tokens through Wilhelt and death triggers, drawing cards, and draining opponents. The main win condition uses an infinite sacrifice loop featuring Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar, weaponized by payoffs like Diregraf Captain or Vela the Night-Clad to drain the table of life. Alternatively, the deck can overwhelm opponents through wide combat pushes amplified by lords such as Death Baron, or execute massive life swings using Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Zombie Apocalypse.
