Deck overview

This Temur deck centers on Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk, leveraging self-damage and Enrage mechanics to generate cascading combat advantages. Bruce Banner operates early as a low-cost commander that can filter or draw cards if mana is open, then transforms for six mana into an 8/8 trample powerhouse. The deck's primary kill condition is an infinite combat loop with Caltrops: whenever The Incredible Hulk attacks, Caltrops deals 1 damage to him, triggering his Enrage ability to put a +1/+1 counter on him, untap him, and create another combat phase. Because his base toughness is 8, the 1 damage per attack is outscaled by the toughness boost, allowing infinite attacks that trample over blockers and eliminate the table on Turn 6. As backup lines, the deck fields potent beaters like Red Hulk and Ravenous Tyrannosaurus supported by damage multipliers like Gratuitous Violence.
