Deck overview

This Meren of Clan Nel Toth deck is a high-power Golgari graveyard midrange and aristocrats strategy. It aims to control the battlefield through recurring sacrifice and edict triggers before closing the game with a compact creature combo. In the early game, the deck accelerates mana using green land ramp and mana dorks while filling the graveyard with tools like Entomb, Buried Alive, and Stitcher's Supplier. Once Meren of Clan Nel Toth enters the battlefield, she generates experience counters to reanimate utility creatures like Spore Frog, Sakura-Tribe Elder, and Fleshbag Marauder every turn cycle. Symmetrical sacrifice effects from Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos keep opposing creature boards completely empty. The primary win condition executes by reanimating and sacrificing Protean Hulk, tutoring Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Walking Ballista alongside a sacrifice outlet to deal infinite damage to all opponents in a single turn.
