Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai-colored deck helmed by Teval, the Balanced Scale is a graveyard-matters value engine. Teval's attack trigger mills three and recurs a land, while his second ability creates a 2/2 Zombie Druid token whenever cards leave your graveyard. The deck leverages self-mill (Sidisi, Brood Tyrant, Hedron Crab, Stiteher's Supplieer) to fill the yard, then recurs permanents via Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Muldrotha, the Graveide, Eternal Witness, and mass reanimation like Living Death and Afterlife from the Loam. Primary wins come from a massive token swarm+Craterhoof Behemoth, the drain of Syr Konrad, the Grim or Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and the sacrifice+damage of Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Combos are present but thin-The Gitrog Monoster plus Life from the Loam and a sacrifice outlet can draw the deck, and Syr Konrad plus self-mill loops threaten table-wide damage. The deck is a grindier build that plans to out-value opponents before landing a finisher.
