Deck overview

This Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver deck operates as a dedicated Zombie Aristocrats combo list. It blends tribal synergy with lethal sacrifice loops, using its commander to generate disposable decayed tokens that double death triggers and feed card draw engines. In the opening turns, the deck deploys ramp, low-curve Zombies, and top-tier tutors to prepare its graveyard and hand. By Turn 4, it establishes an active engine using sacrifice outlets and card draw engines like Undead Augur. On Turn 5, it transitions into a decisive win by resolving infinite combos such as Rooftop Storm with Acererak the Archlich or Phyrexian Altar with Gravecrawler and a blood artist effect. A resilient reanimation package and efficient counterspells protect its win lines from disruption, while Grave Pact keeps creature boards clear.
