Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the engine of an Azorius artifact-token deck. He doubles every token created and every non-first draw, so the deck pairs cheap draw spells with token generators (Sai, Efficient Construction, Thopter Spy Network) to flood the board while digging for Mechanized Production. The primary win is enchanting a Thopter (or other artifact token) with Mechanized Production and using Bard to double the upkeep copies until eight same-name artifacts exist. A secondary combat plan uses Caretaker's Talent, Stridehangar Automaton, and The Prydwen to turn the token army into a flying beatdown. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around Bard's replacement effects.
