Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is piloted by Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, focusing on duplicating high-impact creatures and assembling compact infinite combos. The list features dense redundancy across several game-winning lines, including the classic Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame interaction, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker untap loops with Combat Celebrant and Zealous Conscripts, and infinite damage triggers between All Will Be One and The Red Terror. Early mana rocks, cost reducers like Ruby Medallion, and potent rituals like Jeska's Will enable the deck to assemble and attempt a lethal combo reliably by Turn 5. The commander serves as both an engine and an alternate win condition, capable of creating five copies of heavy hitters like Terror of the Peaks. While the deck possesses explosive finishing speed and strong backup combos that do not require the commander, it relies on parity rummaging for card selection and carries minimal instant-speed protection against opposing countermagic and removal.
