Rakdos Dragon Treasures by HawthornVine

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Treasure-combo deck built around Smaug the Impenetrable: every point of noncombat damage dealt to the 8/7 becomes a Treasure token. The primary plan is to point Pyrohemia, Self-Destruct, Chain Lightning, or Blasphemous Act at Smaug, convert the resulting Treasures into mana, and finish through Reckless Fireweaver, Mayhem Devil, and Marionette Master-style drains, a horde of hasted Dragons, or Revel in Riches. Smaug the Magnificent acts as a hidden commander: a cheaper source of recurring Treasures and a haste attacker that scales with the token count. The deck can also play a midrange equipment and Dragon beatdown role when the combo pieces are not assembled.
