Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a Grixis discard-stax deck: force every opponent to discard, then convert those discards into life loss, mana, and cards. The primary plan is incremental attrition with Megrim, Liliana's Caress, Waste Not, and Kefka's own enter/attack trigger, then finish with a compact Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank loop (or the alternate Syr Konrad + Mindcrank loop). The transformed back face, Kefka, Ruler of Ruin, is a late-game card-advantage engine once opponents start bleeding; the deck is built around the front face. There is no dedicated hidden commander; the wizard package led by Kuja provides secondary burn, while reanimation returns key pieces.
