Deck overview

This Temur deck is helmed by Flubs, the Fool, transforming standard landfall and storm mechanics into an engine centered on playing with an empty hand. By casting Flubs early, the deck plays additional lands each turn and cantrips off every land play or spell cast whenever the hand is empty. Mana velocity from Lotus Cobra, Tireless Provisioner, and Burgeoning allows rapid cycling through the library, triggering powerful landfall multipliers like Scute Swarm, Sabotender, and Tannuk, Memorial Ensign. Graveyard land recursion from Crucible of Worlds and Icetill Explorer guarantees land drops regardless of draw quality. The primary win condition involves amassing an overwhelming Insect swarm with Scute Swarm or burning the table down through landfall and Goblin Bombardment triggers. While holding reactive countermagic slightly conflicts with Flubs's empty-hand requirement, the explosive card draw and redundancy ensure strong recovery and mid-game inevitability.
