Deck overview

This deck is a specialized four-color control deck built around Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list excludes all low-mana creature cards, dedicating its creature slots exclusively to high-impact boss monsters such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, and Darksteel Angel. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing through Signets and Talismans while generating cheap creature or planeswalker tokens via cards like Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Jace-empowering enchantments. On Turn 4, the commander enters and immediately activates his −3 ability to exile a token and flip directly into a game-altering bomb from the library. Backed by clean spot removal, sweepers like Sunfall, and protection from Flawless Maneuver, the deck grinds down opposing life totals over two to three attack cycles while locking out combat with Serra's Emissary and doubling life loss with Archfiend of Despair.
