Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green stompy strategy built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan focuses on deploying high-power, low-cost creatures in the opening turns to rapidly accumulate 10 or more total power on the battlefield. This power threshold drastically discounts Ghalta, allowing the 12/12 Elder Dinosaur to enter as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Once Ghalta is on the battlefield, the deck converts its massive stats into compounding card advantage through power-matters engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging trample and mass power multipliers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to eliminate opponents over sequential attack steps. While the deck boasts high redundancy and rapid recovery from board wipes thanks to its dense suite of large beaters, it remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers and lacks stack-based interaction to contest fast non-creature win conditions.
