Jenova by jcv98

Format: Commander

Commander: Jenova, Ancient Calamity

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jenova, Ancient Calamity leads a +1/+1 counter deck that turns a few early counters into an exponential combat threat. The primary plan is to stack multipliers such as Corpsejack Menace, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and The Earth Crystal, then grow Jenova or a single beater with Level Up and Sazh-style doubling effects. The finish is usually commander damage through Rogue's Passage, or Jarad sacrificing one huge creature to drain the table. Jenova also draws cards when Mutants die, and Bebop/Rocksteady provide a small partner-tutor draw engine. There is no true hidden commander; the deck's secondary lines are generic counter midrange and recursion-heavy rebuilds after removal.
