Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red midrange strategy commanded by Jaxis, the Troublemaker. It aims to assemble high-impact enter-the-battlefield and death triggers, creating temporary token copies that attack immediately and replace themselves upon dying. Early turns focus on establishing mana velocity through low-cost mana rocks and filtering cards via discard outlets like Bitter Reunion and Currency Converter. Once Jaxis is online alongside redundant copy engines such as Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink and Feldon of the Third Path, the deck transitions into lethal burn and combat steps. Heavy threats such as Fanatic of Mogis, Spawn of Thraxes, and Calamity, Galloping Inferno generate compounding bursts of direct damage to all opponents simultaneously. While the deck boasts high internal synergy and explosive damage turns, it runs minimal defensive counterplay and struggles against heavy enchantment strategies, relying instead on quick resets and aggressive board pressure.
