This deck is a Dimir Pirate tempo and artifact-combo strategy led by partner commanders Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Francisco, Fowl Marauder. The primary plan deploys cheap, evasive Pirates on the first two turns to enable early combat triggers. Malcolm converts combat damage into rapid Treasure acceleration, while Francisco provides consistent card filtering through explore triggers. This mana and card advantage allows the deck to resolve powerful draw enchantments like Coastal Piracy and Enduring Curiosity while holding up an extensive suite of low-cost countermagic. The deck converts its artifact surplus into a decisive finish by assembling Time Sieve alongside Academy Manufactor or Grim Hireling. When three Pirates deal combat damage across the table, the resulting artifact tokens allow Time Sieve to take infinite consecutive extra turns, winning the game through combat damage without passing the turn.
