Winota, No Quarter Given (High Power) (duplicated from ADR14N) by user5486513

Format: Commander

Commander: Winota, Joiner of Forces

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-tempo Boros Stax-Combo deck helmed by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary game plan is to deploy cheap, non-Human attackers (Ornithopter, Phyrexian Walker, Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh) early, then cast Winota and swing to cheat powerful Humans directly into play tapped and attacking. The deck layers oppressive rule-of-law effects (Archon of Emeria, Eidolon of Rhetoric, Ethersworn Canonist) to lock opponents out of casting multiple spells, while Winota's trigger bypasses that restriction. The kill is delivered via extra-combat chains (Combat Celebrant, Breath of Fury, Raph & Leo, Sibling Rivals) that multiply attacks and flood the board with Humans, often finished by Angrath's Marauders or Eomer, King of Rohan for massive damage. The deck is explosive but fragile if Winota is neutralized.
