Commander: The Destined Warrior

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Esper midrange deck is built entirely around the party mechanic, leveraging The Destined Warrior's cost reduction for Clerics, Rogues, Warriors, and Wizards and its full-party combat pump. The primary plan is to assemble a full party quickly-using changelings like Maskwood Nexus, Irregular Cohort, and Mirror Entity-then overwhelm opponents with pumped, evasive creatures. The deck packs a dense suite of interaction, stax pieces, and card draw (Rhystic Study, The One Ring, Smothering Tithe) to grind out value while the party beats down. Secondary win conditions include Akroma's Will for a one-shot alpha strike and Bastion of Remembrance for incremental drain. The commander is a solid anthem piece but not essential; the 99 contains many payoffs that function without him.
