Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats build helmed by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability to generate 1/1 Vampire tokens for every Vampire spell cast, rapidly creating a wide battlefield without needing to cast the commander early. The deck turns this token swarm into card advantage using Skullclamp, ramp with Master of Dark Rites and Culling the Weak, and overwhelming combat pressure through lords and anthems like Coat of Arms, Cathars' Crusade, and Edgar Markov himself. If combat stalls, the deck pivots into aristocratic life drain via Blood Artist, Vein Ripper, and The Meathook Massacre, or ends the game on the spot using the two-card infinite combo of Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood. A robust suite of free and low-cost protection spells ensures the board survives sweepers to seal victory by turn 6.
