Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis spellslinger strategy led by Anhelo, the Painter. It leverages disposable 2-power creatures like Bloodghast, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Poppet Stitcher to casualty-copy high-impact instants and sorceries once each turn. The primary win condition centers on resolving Bruvac the Grandiloquent alongside a kicked Maddening Cacophony or casualty-copied Cut Your Losses, milling all opponents out of their entire libraries in a single blow. As a secondary plan, the deck generates immense bursts of mana using Jeska's Will, Seething Song, and Storm-Kiln Artist to cast lethal, duplicated Torment of Hailfire or Crackle with Power. The list supports its game plan with top-tier card draw engines like Necropotence and Rhystic Study, while defending key turns with free counterspells including Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat.
