Deck overview

Silverquill, the Disputant leads an Orzhov spellslinger and aristocrats strategy that converts disposable creature tokens into duplicated instant and sorcery spells through Casualty 1. The deck develops early board presence with efficient token generators like Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and Sedgemoor Witch, alongside dense ramp and black card advantage. Once Silverquill is in play, every sacrifice draw spell and removal spell yields double value at minimal mana cost. Tutors can be copied to assemble big-mana packages such as Cabal Coffers and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth or explosive ritual chains with Yawgmoth's Will. The deck secures its winning turn behind proactive protection like Silence and Voice of Victory, then finishes the game with a casualty-doubled Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Debt to the Deathless that drains all three opponents simultaneously.
