Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan +1/+1 counters midrange deck commanded by Anafenza, the Foremost. The strategy focuses on establishing early board presence, buffing creatures via Anafenza's attack trigger, Outlast mechanics, and Endure abilities, and granting the team powerful combat keywords like flying, trample, deathtouch, and lifelink through lords like Abzan Falconer and Tuskguard Captain. Anafenza provides incidental, asymmetric graveyard hate from the command zone, effectively suppressing aristocrats and reanimation strategies. The deck relies on a dense suite of flexible exile and destruction removal to dismantle key opposing threats while systematically building a dominant, evasive board to win through combat damage by turns 7 to 8.
