Hellbent Slaughter by FeralGundam

Format: Commander

Commander: Mogis, God of Slaughter

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mogis, God of Slaughter fronts a black-red discard-and-drain control deck. The primary plan is to layer upkeep discard effects (Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, Cunning Lethemancer) with damage enchantments (Megrim, Liliana's Caress), taxing life on each discarded card. Mogis is an indestructible enchantment that forces a sacrifice or 2 damage each opponent upkeep; the deck rarely needs him as a creature, though high devotion can make him a backup attacker. Secondary paths are Havoc Festival's life-halving clock, Sire of Insanity emptying hands into drain triggers, and Tinybones converting empty hands into 10-life chunks. Vance's Blasting Cannons // Spitfire Bastion is a hidden-commander-style card-advantage engine that becomes a burn land.
