Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros kindred strategy built around Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. It floods the battlefield with low-curve Dwarves, generates substantial Treasure tokens through creature entries and combat abilities, and converts those artifact tokens into massive power buffs across the board. The mana base and ramp package leverage fast kindred acceleration such as Magda, Brazen Outlaw, Fíli and Kíli, Joyous, and Treasure engines to deploy Thorin ahead of curve on Turn 4. From Turn 5 onward, the deck presents overwhelming combat pressure backed by Equipment scaling and reach from Dáin of the Ancient Halls and Smaug the Magnificent. While the deck excels at rapid board development and high-synergy combat damage, its reliance on a creature-dense battlefield makes it susceptible to mass removal, requiring careful timing and selective protection.
