Deck overview

This deck is an optimized mono-black control and combo build commanded by Maha, Its Feathers Night. Maha sets the base toughness of all opposing creatures to 1, turning minor -1/-1 effects and sweepers like Ascendant Evincar, Toxic Deluge, Massacre Wurm, and The Meathook Massacre into lethal, one-sided board wipes. While controlling the battlefield through heavy creature removal, hand disruption, and graveyard hate, the deck leverages high-impact mana acceleration like Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth to cast powerful spells ahead of curve. Its primary route to victory is an infinite life-drain combo assembling Enduring Tenacity with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, which eliminates all three opponents in a single turn once any life change occurs. A dense tutor suite provides reliable access to combo pieces or asymmetric stax pieces, while robust recursion ensures rapid recovery from removal.
