Deck overview

This is a classic Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Veyran, Voice of Duality, built entirely around doubling the triggered payoffs of casting and copying instants and sorceries. The core loop is chaining cantrips, copy spells, and storm pieces so that Guttersnipe, Talrand, Sky Summoner, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun each fire twice, generating damage, Drakes, Treasures, and cards in a compounding spiral. The primary win conditions are storming into Aetherflux Reservoir (whose life gain Veyran doubles), burning the table out with Guttersnipe/Thousand-Year Storm copies, and self-milling into Thassa's Oracle/Laboratory Maniac/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries via Palantir of Orthanc, Windfall, and Frantic Search. Secondary beats come from Scourge of the Throne extra combats and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth.
