Deck overview

This mono-green deck is helmed by The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, focusing on rapid mana acceleration, geometric token multiplication, and decisive overrun or combo finishes. In the early turns, the deck establishes mana velocity using efficient dorks, land tutors, and token-mana converters like Cryptolith Rite and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest. Once the commander enters on Turn 4, her activated ability doubles the Squirrel count with each activation, quickly turning a modest board into an army of 16+ tokens. The deck converts this wide board state into a win on Turn 5 or 6 through devastating pump spells like Craterhoof Behemoth, Finale of Devastation, and Coat of Arms, or via an infinite token and mana loop with Phyrexian Altar and Altar of Dementia. A rich suite of protective instants like Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer ensures the swarm survives opposing interaction.
