Deck overview

This Esper midrange deck utilizes Hashaton, Scarab's Fist to turn creature discards into formidable 4/4 Zombie token copies for {2}{U}. The strategy focuses on setting up repeatable discard outlets like Tortured Existence and filtering spells to discard high-impact creatures such as Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Sun Titan. Once these tokens are deployed, the deck leverages asymmetric board suppression from Archfiend and combat enhancements from Temmet, Naktamun's Will to overpower opposing boards. A robust interaction package consisting of low-cost removal, countermagic, and modal sweepers like Farewell controls the tempo of the game while card advantage engines like Black Market Connections and Pollywog Prodigy sustain resources. The deck finishes games cleanly around Turn 8 through wide combat swings empowered by Akroma's Will.
