Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis wheel strategy built around Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The plan accelerates into Nekusar or redundant draw-punishers such as Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse by Turn 3-4. Once a punisher is active, the deck casts high-impact wheel effects like Windfall, Dark Deal, Whispering Madness, and Teferi's Puzzle Box to burn all three opponents simultaneously while disrupting their hands. Damage multipliers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph rapidly accelerate the clock, turning each card drawn into 3 to 4 points of damage. Free protection spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protect the commander during critical wheel turns. The deck closes games reliably across Turns 5-6 through chained wheels or graveyard recursion with Underworld Breach.
