Deck overview

This deck is a focused Dimir Zombie Aristocrats combo strategy piloted by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. It blends synergistic tribal combat pressure, continuous creature sacrifice attrition, and a compact instant-win combo. Early turns focus on establishing mana fixing, stocking the graveyard with tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive, and deploying recursive Zombie pieces such as Gravecrawler. Once Wilhelt is on the battlefield, the deck generates decayed Zombie tokens that feed card draw engines like Skullclamp and Undead Augur. The primary route to victory executes on Turn 5 by looping Gravecrawler with Phyrexian Altar alongside a death-trigger drain piece like Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher, or Vengeful Dead to eliminate all opponents simultaneously. Secondary engines such as Rooftop Storm, Poppet Factory, and Grave Pact provide formidable board suppression and alternative combo avenues if the primary line is contested.
