Commander: Kyler, Sigardian Emissary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kyler, Sigardian Emissary is a go-wide Humans +1/+1 counters deck. The plan is to flood the board with cheap Human creatures, resolve multiplicative counter effects (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Innkeeper's Talent, Cathars' Crusade, Court of Garenbrig), and convert Kyler's counter count into the deck's primary anthem. Every Human that enters after Kyler puts a counter on him, which in turn makes every other Human enormous. The deck closes games through combat: Abzan Falconer grants flying to countered creatures, Tuskguard Captain and Kodama of the West Tree grant trample, Champion of Lambholt blanks blockers, and Akroma's Will or Overwhelming Stampede provides the finishing alpha strike. There are no infinite combos - this is a midrange value deck that wins by overwhelming board presence. Kyler is the force multiplier, but the 30+ Human shell and counter engines keep the plan functional even when he is answered repeatedly.
