Deck overview

This deck is an Esper topdeck-manipulation strategy helmed by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan revolves around ramping into Yennett on turns 4 or 5, carefully sculpting the top card of the library using cheap cantrips and artifacts like Sensei's Divining Top and Scroll Rack, and then attacking to cheat massive odd-cost spells directly onto the battlefield. The payoff suite features devastating high-impact threats, including Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Breach the Multiverse, and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, alongside asymmetric sweepers like In Garruk's Wake. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game value and formidable combat pressure, it is inherently fair, lacking compact infinite combos or stack-based countermagic. Its primary path to victory is grinding down opponents through overwhelming resource asymmetry and closing the game via massive Eldrazi and Demon attacks over multiple combat cycles.
