Deck overview

This deck is an innovative five-color kindred strategy centered on Cosmic Spider-Man and an army of versatile changeling creatures. Because changelings possess every creature type simultaneously, they trigger the most potent kindred lords and payoffs across Magic history. Cosmic Spider-Man acts as the ultimate combat amplifier from the command zone, granting all Spiders—and thus all changelings—flying, first strike, trample, lifelink, and haste at the beginning of combat. The game plan develops cheap changelings in the early turns, stabilizes five colors of mana through an extensive fetchland, shockland, and triome mana base, and then lands Cosmic Spider-Man or crushing tribal lords like Knight Exemplar, Lord of the Unreal, and Shared Animosity. Cross-tribal synergies allow the deck to draw immense card advantage with Kindred Discovery and Seshiro the Anointed, protect its board with hexproof and indestructible layers, and overwhelm the table through massive evasive combat swings or alternate win conditions like Liliana's Contract.
