Deck overview

This Izzet deck is built around Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, utilizing the front side to dig through the library for key artifacts before paying {4}{U}{R} to transform into a flying, hasty 5/5. Upon entering combat, Iron Man cheats massive artifact bombs directly from hand onto the battlefield and automatically equips high-cost Equipment. The deck leverages dense 0-2 CMC mana acceleration and rituals to reliably transform on Turn 4, dropping game-ending threats such as Portal to Phyrexia, Blightsteel Colossus, Genji Glove, Krang, Utrom Warlord, and Darksteel Forge. Supported by an elite suite of free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship, as well as backup cheat enablers like Master Transmuter and Iron Man, Titan of Innovation, the deck transitions rapidly from early setup into overwhelming board control and lethal combat damage over two response cycles.
