Commander: Hylda of the Icy Crown

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hylda of the Icy Crown leads an Azorius tap-control deck. The primary plan is land Hylda on curve, pair her with a repeatable tap source, and convert tapped opponent creatures into 4/4 Elementals or extra cards. Secondary paths use Rhoda, Geist Avenger as an alternate carry, Opposition to lock down lands and artifacts, and Sunblast Angel-style wipes that punish tapped boards. Hylda is the engine; the deck maximizes her trigger for pressure and card advantage. There is no true hidden commander; Rhoda is a supporting payoff rather than a secret general. The deck closes through incremental combat, usually with a pumped Rhoda and a crowd of tokens, not a combo.
