Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf combo and tribal beatdown strategy commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking. It blends the rapid mana development of classic Elfball with graveyard tutor engines. By using Buried Alive, Jarad's Orders, or Unmarked Grave, the deck places key Elves like Devoted Druid, Deathbloom Ritualist, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader directly into the graveyard. Thranduil copies all activated abilities of those milled Elves, generating infinite colored mana and infinite power/toughness buffs. The deck can close the game on the spot through infinite trample combat damage or by sacrificing pumped creatures to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. When the primary combo is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into a go-wide swarm plan with Lathril, Blade of the Elves and mass reanimation via Haunting Voyage. Solid protection spells like Veil of Summer and Selfless Safewright shield its critical win windows.
