The Ur-Dragon by DrBean

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon commands a five-color Dragon tribal deck focused on overwhelming opponents through mana reduction, explosive mana generation, and massive flying threats. From the command zone, its Eminence ability discounts every Dragon by one generic mana, accelerating early curve progression alongside mana dorks and cost reducers. The primary win condition is lethal aerial combat boosted by damage multipliers like Atarka, World Render and Scourge of the Throne, or generating overwhelming dragon swarms with Utvara Hellkite and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. Secondary win conditions include infinite combat loops via Aggravated Assault paired with high-volume Treasure engines like Old Gnawbone or Ancient Copper Dragon.
