Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir artifact and Villain kindred deck led by Ultron, Unlimited. The primary game plan revolves around generating wide boards of 2/2 Robot Villain tokens through repeated connive triggers, filtering through cards while growing threats with +1/+1 counters. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and deploying low-cost Villains or discard-synergy engines like Containment Construct and Ledger Shredder. On Turn 3, Ultron enters, enabling token generation on Turn 4 attacks by paying {1} whenever a creature connives. In the mid-game, the deck scales its board presence using anthems such as Ultron, Machine Overlord, counter multipliers like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, or explosive finishes via Cyberdrive Awakener and Kappa Cannoneer. Disruption is supported by a lean suite of removal, board wipes, and static tax effects like Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Propaganda. The deck finishes opponents across multiple combat turns between Turns 6 and 8.
