Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius +1/+1 counters combat deck commanded by Denzilore Fatehold. Its strategy focuses on deploying low-cost creatures that scry or surveil whenever they attack, enter the battlefield, or tap. Once Denzilore enters, each scry or surveil action places +1/+1 counters onto your entire board, quickly transforming modest utility creatures into large flying threats. The deck leverages high redundancy in information-filtering effects to smooth land drops and sculpt hands, while using cards like Abzan Falconer and Elvish Mariner to push through damage. Because it wins primarily through combat across multiple turns, it relies on timely protection spells like Ripples of Potential and an asymmetric wipe in Wave Goodbye to break parity. However, the list runs no fast tutors or hard stax, playing a fair, curve-conscious game that steadily overwhelms opponents through snowballing combat stats.
