Commander: Sliver Overlord

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Sliver tribal deck helmed by Sliver Overlord, whose {3} activated ability tutors any Sliver directly to hand - making him the deck's sole search engine and its primary source of card advantage. The plan is to deploy a critical mass of Slivers, stack redundant lord effects (Sliver Legion, Megantic Sliver, Might Sliver, Muscle Sliver, Sinew Sliver), and win through overwhelming combat. Secondary lines include Virulent Sliver poison accelerated by Fury Sliver double strike, Lavabelly Sliver drain, and Constricting Sliver/Necrotic Sliver as repeatable removal. The commander's tutoring is the backbone of the strategy - every key piece, from the poison enabler to the indestructible-granting Sliver Hivelord, is found through him, which makes protecting him paramount.
